OSCAR Self Defense and Martial Art school
Country: Haute Savoie, France Founder: Frederic Paezkiewiecz. Year of
founding: 2007 Logo meaning: Tai ji: symbol of Taoism and Asian
philosophy, arrows represent movement like Jeet Kune Do symbol. Red and blue
are the universal colors to distingue opponents in combat sports: wrestling,
sambo… Black part of circle: represent the black belt, symbol of the mastery
of martial art. White eagle on red: Rumilly coat of arms (and Polska coat of
arms). Sword: symbol of Infantry, the three red arrows represent Kali
triangle and the delta is the universal symbol of security activity. Eagle
with vertical sword is the symbol of commando soldiers in French army. Blue
rectangle with yellow border line and yellow star on the left (west):
represent European Union and some cultural influences (Slavic, Baltic, Latin,
Celtic, German, Jewish, Christian…) Yellow flash represent natural and
internal energy on the right (east/Asia). Styles: Jeet Kune Do, Kali Silat, Combat
Kempo, Sambo. Description: After more 20 years practicing
martial arts and 16 years in the army, Frederic Paezkiewiecz opened a Jeet
Kune Do/Martial Art school in the association OSCAR, the socio cultural
office of Rumilly and Alban district (Haute Savoie, France) on March 2007.
This activity became OSCAR Self Defense and Martial Art school on 2008
September. The school use cross training with partners clubs in Wrestling,
