Summer 2008 An International Event Celebration of Soke
D'Antonios 30th Year in the Martial Arts as well as Unity and Friendship for martial
artists Worldwide! Soke D'Antonio, and the Bufuakan would like to
invite ALL members of the ICMAUA to attend our annual gathering this year
FREE OF CHARGE! This free event is to celebrate Soke 30th year in
the arts. Soke has made the decision to unite all martial artists as one
family regardless of style or affiliation. This years event will be held in Pennsylvania,
USA. July 25TH 26TH & 27TH 2008. The event will start off with a meet and greet BBQ
style buffet and party on the night of July 25th. The next two days will be
filled with instruction in the Ninja Arts as taught within the Bufukan. Guests will be responsible for travel expenses,
food on the 26th and 27th and their own lodging. You may contact the hombu
via email with any specific questions or for help finding lodging
accommodations. Topics covered will be: weapons disarms weapon retention kusari gama Ninja Taijutsu Ninja Tanto justu correct body placement in combative movement and many other topics related to the Koga ryu

WESTERN REGION FREESTYLE KATA TOURNAMENT If you practice traditional
ju-jitsu this tournament is for you. Sponsored by the American Ju-Jitsu
Association, a national governing body for Ju-Jitsu in the U.S., this is a
completely safe form of competition for students and black belts alike,
regardless of ryu. No grappling or MMA here. Just good clean technique. Tournament will be
held at College of the Canyons, Santa Clarita, CA, on Saturday, May 31. For

Kaihewalu Hawaiian Lua. Prof. Kirby

Three of Kajukenbo's greatest Grandmaster's will be

At the north of China a historic event is taking shape: 2nd Tai Chi Science Seminar
(TSS-2), scheduled for September 1-6 in 2008 at Changchun, the
capital city of Jilin province in north China. This is an unusual seminar
making history: Tai Chi for the first time ever as a modern science has been
established. The seminar features itself in four points, which should distinguish
itself from all other seminars on the world: First, with the subject matter "Tai Chi, science and health",
the seminar could be a chance for meeting of people who are researching or
interesting about Tai Chi healing functions. In the Tai Chi Forum they could
declare their thesis, show their research results, and learn from other’s
experiences. By all such activities the attendee could get many useful
knowledge and methods, which could strengthen your capabilities having Tai
Chi as a healing method. So TSS-2 is great gathering of people who prefer for

Tai Chi today, will be released by Mr. Zhang Jiping himself, who is the
founder of TSS, which is the front of Tai Chi development in China. (more details:

Hunyuan Tai chi, the newest style created by GM Feng Zhiqiang,
now has become more and more popular in China and in 18 western countries. As
an indoor disciple of Feng, Mr. Zhang Jiping will teach you Hunyuan Tai
Chi 24 Forms, Hunyuan Tai Chi Sword and Hunyuan Tai
Chi Saber, as well as the Internal Work and Tai
Chi Stick. The remarkable point is that “Two-phrase Teaching” method
works for of the workshop in the seminar. That means that every participator
should begin learning the lessons before the seminar time, by TSS-2 Internet
support. And then during the seminar they could get deeper instructions and
they could master much more knowledge and skills by only once time. So it
could be the most fruitful workshop and save you lot of time and money. (more details:

chance to get Mr. Zhang
Jiping as sifu and therefore become an official inheritor of Tai Chi
Lineage. That is to be an official inheritor of 12th generation of Chen-style

some people, who are instructors of Tai Chi and take Tai Chi as a serious
career. After the seminar the disciples will be introduced to GM Feng Zhqiang

Dear Kungfu
and Taichi masters, On behalf of
the International
Kungfu Federation (IKF) we would like to greet and inform
you about our activity. The goal of
the IKF is to promote a unique unity of kungfu and taichi and see it among
the Olympic games. We are aware that if one kungfu style joins the Olympics,
the other styles will be eliminated. Therefore we are against of any specific
style to be linked with the IOC. We offer Light Sanda to be included in
the Olympic Games and ten kungfu and taichi styles,
winners of the IKF world championships, to be demonstrated at the
Olympic Games. Light Sanda
can be instructed at all kungfu and taichi clubs as an amateur sport. We have
already clarified our objectives to you and invite you to join the IKF. The
International Kungfu Federation seeks a unity, where all traditional kungfu
and taichi styles are free from any form of prejudice as a unique team with
